"Toukiden: Kiwami" is a hunting action game where players take on the role of a Slayer possessing unique abilities, and battle the Oni to save mankind from destruction.

Problems during installation?

If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:

  • Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click "Force Re-check")
  • Disable antivirus, it can delete installation files or cracks on-the-fly
  • Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
  • Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
  • Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR specifically to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
  • Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:

it keeps telling me i dont have admin rights to install it i already right click run as admin and set properties admin and it still dont work solution?

Try to install to another folder or in safe mode. You work with slave rights on your PC.

The installation has been stuck on Checking for proper folder rights..." for two and a half hours. I've tried a couple times before that and it always stops at the same spot (0.0%). I used the default installation location and I am running as administrator. The location it is installing to has all priviliges from administrator inherited from the hard drive.

PLEASE HELP. HOW DO I FIX THIS?

It means something like UAC or antivirus is blocking the test tool of the installer. Try to install in Safe Mode - if it will work, you better make yourself a full-rights admin.

BTW, other repacks of this game with the similar size will install FOR HOURS due to specific game structure.

Torrent works great, installed without any problem, took about 45min. Rig Win7, FX-8320, GTX 750Ti.
The game itself seems to be a poorly made port to PC, has several problems like the fixed controller, the fps (if you play it windowed it runs in slow-motion, if you play fullscreen the game may runs at 2-3x speed, seems like 10x speed the main menu), depends of how you have configured your gfx card, if you have a nvidia card just chose the "let the application decide" options.

Sadly, compared to other KOEI titles that I love (sometimes I just want to mindlessly beat thousands of enemies), the action here is interrupted every 2-3 min, the zones are very small with 5-10 enemies (the game calls them a horde -_-), then you have to move to another zone in the map, the load times are short a couple seconds long but enough to kill the mood, Im out.

Seems to me no matter what version I install codex or fitgirl or 3dm I can't even get it to launch I don't understand why not.

i can play it in windows 7, but today i upgrade to win 10 and it often crash in loading screen

Yeah I had a few false positives on a few games from FitGirl. Just disable the anti-virus then add the installed directory to exclusion list. (mostly the .Steam file.)
