The Powerpuff Girls is an all-new, animated comedy series from Cartoon Network Studios. Reimagined for a whole new audience, The Powerpuff Girls centers around three sisters juggling school, homework and monsters...all before bedtime. Blossom (Amanda Leighton), Bubbles (Kristen Li) and Buttercup (Natalie Palamides) aren't your average little girls from Townsville: together, they form the superhero team known to the city as The Powerpuff Girls! When they're not scrapbooking, working on homework or hanging out at home, the girls serve as the defenders of Townsville. Though their beautiful, bustling metropolis may look safe, there are some unusually sinister characters–including Mojo Jojo (Roger L. Jackson), Princess Morbucks (Haley Mancini) and Fuzzy Lumpkins (Jim Cummings)–intent on taking over.

The Powerpuff Girls also features the very real, everyday adventures of kid-dom like fitting in, navigating school and, for the girls', figuring out how to be the best heroes they can be. Through it all—whether fighting a monster or amongst themselves—Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup stick together because they're more than friends: they're sisters! Along the way, the girls are joined by their father and creator Professor Utonium (Tom Kane), the Mayor (Tom Kenny) and a host of others.

Nick Jennings, previously an Emmy® Award-winning art director on the hit Cartoon Network series Adventure Time, serves as executive producer on the new series. Bob Boyle (Clarence, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!) is also on board as co-executive producer.

One of Cartoon Network's most enduring original series, the initial run of The Powerpuff Girls, created by Craig McCracken, premiered in 1996 and earned two Emmy® Awards along with five nominations and countless animation honors throughout its 78 episodes. The series also spawned a feature film with Warner Bros. Pictures in 2002.

Blossom is the leader of The Powerpuff Girls. With her smarts, positivity and strong moral compass, Blossom guides her sisters as best she can, even if she can be overly Type-A at times. But don't worry – Blossom will never miss an opportunity to kick loose – or kick monster butt!

Bubbles is the heart of The Powerpuff Girls. As her name suggests, she has a bubbly disposition and is the most sensitive and artistic of the group. At times she can be a bit naïve. Bubbles can find the good in anyone, but don't underestimate her: like her sisters, she can take down any foe that stands in her way with her adorable brand of justice.

Buttercup is the muscle of The Powerpuff Girls. She's never afraid to speak her mind or do what she pleases. A true renegade, she punches first and asks questions later, especially when it comes to the villains that threaten Townsville. This occasionally gets her into trouble. Luckily, "trouble" is Buttercup's favorite word!

Professor Utonium is your average, mundane, super-genius scientist father. It's not easy raising three little girls with superpowers, but somehow he manages to pack lunches, do the laundry and get the girls to bed on time – all while working on his latest crazy invention.

The Mayor of Townsville, or simply, "the Mayor," is masterful at having fun and calling The Powerpuff Girls when trouble arises. Although he'd rather be kicking back, noshing on some super-tasty pickles, when dealing with the various monsters that threaten the city, he can always count on The Powerpuff Girls – and his assistant Miss Bellum – to get him out of the sticky situations he regularly finds himself in.

When Buttercup starts spending a lot of time with her new friends - a group of bad-girl skaters called The Derbytantes - it seems The Powerpuff Girls are down to two, which delights Princess Morbucks, who wants to fill the empty slot.

After Bubbles wins two tickets to see the girls' favorite band Sensitive Thugz, Blossom and Buttercup vie for her plus-one. But when the Mayor's plane crashes on Monster Island, the girls must put aside their differences to save the day!
