Confirmed Working: GUID Partition works very well ASUS COMMANDO Motherboard Pentium 4 3.8Ghz EM64T 4GB DDR2 Crucial Ballistix Ram 1GB DDR2 NVidia 9500GT Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 se (not working,no kext available yet) Replaced with an old C-Media card Used kext helper B7 to install the driver from : http://www.kexts.com/ (CMI8738PCIAudioDriver kext ) Now I have fully working sound in/out and Mic . SETTINGS I USED: Boot loader - Use Chameleon v2 RC5 (uncheck all others) Boot loader Options - 32bit boot -Graphics Enabler USB - usb fix PATCHES -Extra directory (Uncheck this or it will not install ) - fakesmc - disabler - RTC-RTC (choose first one) MODIFIED KERNELS - qoopz 10.3.0 DRIVERS : MAIN HARDWARE - SATA/IDE - Intel SATA/IDE UNCHECK THE SOUND ( Important ) It will not work with this checked. You can load the driver kext for your card later manually with kext helper B7 UNCHECK VGA NETWORK - Wired - Marvell - Marvell Yukon 88E8001 ANYTHING ELSE LEAVE AS IT IS. It will update to 10.6.4 from combo update by going to the apple website and downloading from there.(you will need this before you can update to 10.6.5 ) NOTE :The 10.6.5 update knocks out the USB's Here's the Fix. To update to 10.6.5 : Open Finder- Open your drive- Open System- Open Library- Open Extensions- find IOUSBFamily.kext and copy it to desktop. Go to the Apple website support page and download and install the 10.6.5 update not the combo one. Do not reboot. Open kext helper b7 ,drag the IOUSB.kext and drop it in the box,hit easy install. reboot you should have no usb problem. Reboot until the chameleon shows press f 8 choose the first apple and press the down arrow and choose to boot with -v -f Hope this helps a few people

This works excellent!
I started out trying it on an old Asus Commando motherboard with 4GB Ram Using a 3.8Ghz Pentium4 EM64T(64bit)processor. I did a comparison to the half dozen Macs I had and was so impressed Idecided to upgrade, sell the Macs and purchase an ASUS P5K-E With WiFi ,8GB Ram ,and a Core 2 Quad Extreme processor.
ERERYTHING, is working perfectly including wifi.
At present I've updated to 10.6.7 without problems and all software functions A-1 INCLUDING GareBand with all the JamPacks and Logic Studio complete with all packs and additions. FANTASTIC UPLOAD!
However people need to give more information about their systems when asking for help.
USE A PROGRAM CALLED EVEREST .It will tell you everything about your computer, so you will know what to pick if you use the custom install menu.

you should be able to restore you mac by pressing r or command r while restarting then a screen will come up giving you the option to restore your laptop as it was... If you cannot select a disk to restore then you will need to reformat your HD to mac os extended journaled.. If that fails. Take it to the a Genius and they will have commands to reset everything...

My MAC is having 2.4 GHZ Core2Duo processor and 2 GB RAM. Earlier it was having OS 10.5.8 and now that I am trying to install this version, the MAC keeps shutting down in the middle of the installation process. Somebody please help.

Okay. Could you suggest anything I may do to get my MAC working again. I have tried to get it fixed at the local service center, but the guys there do not seem to have a solution to this.
