I know this post is old, but I am angry... and I want to reply:

Somebody needs to switch to an English font!

OR take up conversation in a private msg.

i do not think its fair to ask ppl to switch to english simply because you dont understand it, KAT gives people the freedom to post in their own language and it should be encouraged rather than ask people to speak in english.
Its an international community and this post was made in the INTERNATIONAL FORUM, so i see no problem with anyone posting a message in their own language.

Not only is there "no problem" in one posting in his or her own language, but language diversity on the Internet is paramount in our fight against oppression (this is coming from me, an anarchist). To all those who think the world should speak solely English, please keep such opinions to yourself. Furthermore, what kind of English is this?!:
Somebody needs to switch to an English font!

An "English font", you say?! Please look up the word "font" before posting such an embarrassment to the English-speaking portion of the world! "Thanks" to unenlightened, self-righteous fools I regrettably call my neighbors, I am ashamed to say that I have lived my entire life in the United States, self-proclaimed "Land of the Free". I speak only English fluently, but when someone posts something in a foreign language, I either attempt to learn enough of that language to read the post, use a free online translator such as translate.google.co.jp, or ignore the post; I encourage the rest of the English-speaking world to do the same. A big "thanks" to all who stepped up to point out the freedoms of this community!

To the poster I have directly criticized in this post:
If you meant what you said in jest (you were "trolling"), then I apologize for using you as an example in this. I was once again angered by what I read on the Internet and felt obligated to "verbalize" ("post-alize"?) a response of my own. I would regret humiliating someone over a joke, and I apologize in that case.

Regardless of the poster's intent, I do not regret typing this message in general or I would not submit this post; I think as many people as possible need to receive this message in some form or another.

Regards,
k.
